Saintis bingung cahaya misteri

interesting story for today [kosmo-11/12/2009]

Ketua Saintis Pusat Angkasa Lepas Norway, Erik Tandberg memberitahu, beberapa pakar percaya ia mungkin ujian peluru berpandu.

- Agensi

Royal Selangor Pewter

On 11 September 26, 2009 I was in Royal Selangor with my friends (Japanese) at royal Selangor visitor centre located at Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur. Many things we learn on our visited and we had briefing about this royal Selangor pewter.
As we told by the guide, Royal Selangor founded in 1885 and bring it to Malaysia by China people and is the world’s foremost name quality pewter, a brand synonymous with design and craftsmanship. In the hands of our skilled craftspeople, this versatile alloy of tin, copper and antimony is transformed into endless variety of homeware and gifts sold in more than twenty countries around the world today such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, London Toronto etc. this royal Selangor visitor centre will take you back over a hundred years to the founding of royal Selangor and its inextricable link with the history of Malaysia.
Every story has a beginning. Royal Selangor’s coincides with the remarkable development of tin mining in the Malay Peninsula in the 1800s. Traditional pewtersmithing tools and antique pewter from around the world are showcased in the pewter museum, and ancient tin currency is featured. To walk and visited the royal pewter we also know how to learn to be a pewtersmithing by enroll In the school of hard knocks. These schools also offer an enjoyable half hour workshop in pewtersmithing by using very basic hand tools; you will create as I done before a simple bowl much like how it would have been made in late 19th century.

SYMBOL OF LANGKAWI ISLAND

Last few days i went to Langkawi with my friend’s anuar and muazam, we went to langkawi in the fasting month just for having fun and relaxing our mind that stressed from work and studied.

As we know Langkawi, officially known as Langkawi, the Jewel of Kedah is an archipelago of 99 island stemporary in the Andaman Sea, some 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia. The islands are a part of the state of Kedah, which is adjacent to the Thai border. By far the largest of the islands is the eponymous Pulau Langkawi with a population of some 45,000, the only other inhabited island being nearby Pulau Tuba. Langkawi is also an administrative district with the town of Kuah as the capital and largest town. Langkawi is a duty-free island.

On the first day we all arrive at langkawi we go to hotel at town of Kuah named as Bay View Hotel and stay for 3days 2 nights. After that we all go to eagle square near at Kuah town.we walk from the hotel to the square and it take 30 minutes and make me feel tired and wanted collapse but still manage to walk until to the square. Clock showing 530pm breaking fast is near by and then i tell my friends we go to bazar by taxi because i cannot walk anymore, i'm feeling very tired. At bazaar my eyes see much food at many stall to buy but I keep my instinct to buy small amount to eat afraid of not finish the food. After that we go back to hotel for having breaking fast at our room. At the night we all go to town to see the shop and buying something to eat. Because of the langkawi is a duty-free island all things in langkawi is cheaper then usual price.

second day: we take a rent car go to cable car Langkawi. Langkawi Cable Car can be considered as one of the most contemporary and new attraction in the magical island. The cable car will bring you to the hill of Mount Mat Chinchang – letting us to grasp the magnificent and breathtaking view of the whole island, and at the same time, make us fall in love deeply with the beauty of Langkawi. at evening we go all round of Langkawi island by a rent car. as usual before breaking fast we go find bazar to get something food to bring back to the hotel.

i love go to langkawi because of the beauty of itself. for the last day we all back to kl with flight. langkawi can be considered best place to visited.

learning new language

Before I'm going to study aboard in Beijing on 1st September, i had learning mandarin at inter culture language school (ICLS) at Plaza Kuala Lumpur at Jalan Bukit Bintang. I had study at that school about 4 month and I had passed 2 levels for beginner and advanced mandarin conversation.

Learning new thing also new language it take a time to be an expert on that thing what have you learn, same as me, I take a time to expert for the new language that call mandarin. Mandarin is using by people in china especially in Beijing and it be the number 1 conversation language to be use at there. For the first time I had learn this language it be a difficult for me because the sound, grammar and way to talk is different from other languages such as English and bahasa melayu.

Mandarin is important just now because nowadays mandarin is very helpful to get the job even in our own country. For me, when I look forward that mandarin is very useful when we want have a business with china country because nowadays this country is growing day by day. So, for my suggestion that we have to learn secondary language that useful for us in the future to make a business and for me, I make a decision to take mandarin as a secondary language. Hope you all take this an advantage.

BUKIT TINGGI(SUMATERA BARAT)
